Install in few basic steps
Install it in under ten minutes. No tools required!
1. Attach to the guitar with tape
Attach the ToneWoodAmp2 to the back of your guitar with blue painter/masking tape. You will do this only once.
2. Loosen the strings
Loosen the strings just enough to slide your hand into the soundhole. No need to remove the strings.
3. Insert the X-Brace
Slide your hand through the soundhole while holding the 
4. Remove tape and start playing!
Remove the blue tape, retune, power the ToneWoodAmp2, connect it using the included

What comes in the TONEWOODAMP2 package?
The box includes the ToneWoodAmp2 unit, the X-brace mount, the LiftKit™ adjustable system, a 1/4" short patch cord, and extra double-sided X-Brace stickers.
Does TONEWOODAMP2 work with any acoustic guitar?
Yes, ToneWoodAmp2 works with virtually any acoustic guitar. If your guitar is electro-acoustic (with a built-in pickup), you're ready to go as-is. If it's an acoustic with no pickup, we offer pickups for both steel-string and nylon-string guitars. The LiftKit™ (patent pending) system adjusts to fit both flat-back and curved-back bodies (not compatible with Ovation guitars yet).
Will it damage my guitar?
No. The install has no permanent impact on the guitar. The magnetic X-brace system is designed to mount securely but be removable if needed. The one-time install is simple and involves only four double-sided stickers.
How long does the battery last?
The rechargeable battery delivers 10+ hours of playing time and charges by USB-C.
Can I use it on multiple guitars?
Yes. Simply purchase an additional X-brace for each guitar you want to use the ToneWoodAmp2 with, and you can move the ToneWoodAmp2 between them. And with the app, you can save a separate profile for each guitar.
How many effects can I use at once?
ToneWoodAmp2 can blend up to 4 effects simultaneously using series or parallel routing, plus EQ and Compressor for dynamics control.
Do I need the app to use it?
No. Every effect can be dialed in from the unit itself. The free remote app for iOS and Android simply gives you a bigger screen, deeper editing and the ability to save and recall your own presets. The app also has extra features, such as a tuner and tap tempo for the delay, with more options coming in the near future.
